Gmail connection problems
Consent errors, app-password issues, IMAP enablement.
- "Authentication failed" — regenerate the app password; Gmail app passwords require 2-Step Verification.
- Consent screen loops — make sure you approved the Gmail permission on Google's consent page.
- Connection works but folders are empty — the Gmail API must be enabled for the Google project; IMAP connections still work meanwhile.
